When you hit a bat normally, the composite resin inside the barrel starts to break down. You've seen evidence of this before as spider-web like cracks that eventually become noticeable on the barrel. Internally the composite is breaking down, shattering, and becoming looser making the bat more flexible which results in balls coming off the bat faster and with more pop.

When you purchase our break-in service, your bat will be broken in and ready to hit bombs for you. This service is $29.99 per bat. We currently only perform this service on new bats purchased through kellysultimatesports.com. To order, click "Yes, make it hotter!" when purchasing any bat on the web site. We perform this service same-day as your order and it should not delay shipment.

Note that bats purchased with break-in service will arrive to you out of wrapper and are therefor not eligible for return or exchange after purchase.
